Premium Baits Garlic Robin Red Boilie Combi Set – 2.5 kg – 20 mm
If you like fishing over a bed of bait with a savoury garlic aroma, this set gives you loose feed and two hookbait sizes in one camo bucket. Fish a deep red-purple 20 mm boilie on the bottom or use a 15 mm pop-up to present your hookbait just above the lakebed.
Baiting up with whole and broken boilies
Scatter whole 20 mm boilies to spread your feed over a wider area. For a tighter patch around the rig, break a handful in the bucket and mix the pieces with a few whole baits. A whole Garlic Robin Red boilie on the hair will match the size, colour and scent of the whole baits in your feed.
Making a Garlic Robin Red snowman
Thread a sinking 20 mm boilie onto the hair first, then add a 15 mm pop-up above it. The smaller bait adds buoyancy. Test the rig in the margins with the hook attached. The bottom bait should settle gently with the pop-up sitting above it. If the combination stays suspended, trim a little off the pop-up and test again.
A tip from Hengelsport 2000
To try the garlic dip, start by coating just your hookbait and use boilies straight from the bag as loose feed. This gives one bait an extra layer of garlic scent while leaving you free to try an undipped boilie on the same spot.
