Terms & Conditions

General terms and conditions of vof Hengelsport 2000, located at Kruidenhof 10, 1112 PS Diemen, the Netherlands (Chamber of Commerce 62269933, VAT NL854737959B01).

  • Angelruten werden NICHT ins Ausland geschickt
  • Hengels worden NIET naar het buitenland verstuurd
  • Fishing rods are not sent abroad

1. Applicability

These conditions apply to all offers and agreements for the purchase and delivery of products through our webshop. If the customer refers to their own general terms and conditions, those do not apply.

2. Prices and shipping costs

All prices are in euros, include VAT and exclude shipping costs. Offers are valid while stocks last. Within the Netherlands we ship free of charge from € 100, except for promotional items and special sizes such as longer packages. You will see the current shipping costs in the last step of your shopping cart, before you pay. See also our Shipping & Delivery page.

  • Packages longer than 80 cm are only shipped within the Netherlands because of extra surcharges by the carrier.

  • Packages for the Wadden Islands are only shipped with a surcharge of € 5.50.

We may change prices. If the price changes after the agreement has been concluded, the price at the time of ordering applies.

3. Payment

You can pay with iDEAL / Wero, Bancontact, PayPal, credit card, by bank transfer or, when picking up in the shop, by card or cash. If you choose bank transfer, transfer the amount to NL51INGB0008643645 in the name of Hengelsport 2000 VOF (BIC: INGBNL2A), stating the order number. As soon as the payment is credited, we ship the goods within 3 working days. If a bank transfer is not credited within 5 working days after ordering, the order is cancelled automatically.

4. Delivery

Ordered goods are shipped within three working days after receipt of payment. If ordered items are out of stock and delivery is not possible in the short term, we will let you know and any amount already paid will be refunded; the agreement is then dissolved. Stated delivery times are target times and are not binding. If a delivery time is exceeded, for example because the manufacturer or carrier delivers late, you can only dissolve the agreement after first giving us a reasonable period to deliver.

5. Risk and quality

The risk for the products passes to the customer as soon as they are delivered to the delivery address. If the customer does not accept delivery, the resulting damage and costs are at the customer’s expense. We deliver products made of sound materials that are substantially similar to the images in the webshop. Minor differences in size and colour may occur; they do not give the right to refuse receipt or payment.

6. Right of withdrawal and returns

You may withdraw from your order and return it within 14 days of receipt without giving any reason. See our Return Policy page for the conditions and how to return. The cost of the return shipment is borne by the customer, unless the item is defective or the wrong item was delivered. We refund the purchase price, including standard shipping costs, within 14 days of your withdrawal.

7. Privacy and data protection

We process personal data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR). We only use your data to carry out your order, to comply with legal obligations and to help you with questions. Read how we handle your data in our privacy policy. You only receive our newsletter if you give consent, when ordering or at another moment. You can unsubscribe at any time.

8. Warranty and complaints

We guarantee that delivered items meet the specifications in the webshop and what you can reasonably expect. If an item does not, report it within two months of discovering the defect by telephone at +31 20 694 8271 or by email at hengelsport2000@hotmail.com, with a clear description of the defect. 9. Liability and force majeure

Our liability is limited to direct damage and, as far as legally permitted, to the amount of the order concerned, except in case of intent or gross negligence on our part. Nothing in these conditions limits your statutory rights as a consumer. In case of force majeure, meaning any circumstance beyond our control that makes compliance with the agreement unreasonable to expect from us, we are not obliged to pay compensation.

10. Other provisions

  • Our offers and agreements are governed by Dutch law. The mandatory consumer protection of the country where you live remains unaffected.

  • If a paid order has not been collected after 1 year, the order and the right to a refund expire.
