Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Pulse Tail Roach 18 cm

Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Pulse Tail Roach 18 cm

The Savage Gear 4D Line Thru Pulse Tail Roach is a realistic roach imitation for pike fishing. Its detailed body and lifelike 4D print create a natural appearance. The slow-sinking design allows you to explore different depths.

Subtle Pulse Tail action

The Pulse Tail produces a subtle tail action while the body remains relatively stable as it swims. This gives you a restrained presentation to alternate with more strongly moving lures. Added scent provides an extra attraction.

How does the Line Thru system work?

During the fight, the lure body can slide up the leader and away from the treble hook. This reduces the opportunity for a pike to use the lure as leverage to shake the hook free. It can also help reduce damage to the soft plastic body.

Fishing with the Pulse Tail Roach

Use a steady retrieve and mix in short pauses, allowing the lure to sink in a controlled way. Vary the sinking time and retrieve speed to explore different depths.

Weighing 90 g, this lure requires a rod with a suitable casting weight rating. When choosing your tackle, also account for the weight of any additional rig components.

Hengelsport 2000 tip

Start with a short sinking time when fishing a new spot, then gradually work deeper. This helps you explore different depths. Maintain contact with the lure as it sinks so you can detect a take.
