Premium Baits The Nutz Boilie Combi Set – 2.5 kg – 15 mm

Premium Baits The Nutz Boilie Combi Set – 2.5 kg – 15 mm

The Nutz combines tiger nut and peanut flavours in a nutty carp bait. This set includes 15 mm boilies to use as loose feed or hookbaits, along with matching dip and pop-ups. The reusable camo bucket keeps everything together on the way to the bank.

Baiting a spot with 15 mm boilies

If you fish a single boilie on the hair, scatter a few whole boilies around your rig. Your hookbait will match the size and flavour of the free offerings on the lakebed. For a tighter patch of feed, break a handful of boilies into halves or crumbs in the bucket and feed the pieces alongside a few whole baits.

Bottom bait, pop-up or snowman

On a clean, firm lakebed, start with a sinking The Nutz boilie. For an extra coating of the same scent, dip your hookbait before casting. If there is soft silt on your spot, a pop-up rig lets you present the hookbait just above it.

For a snowman, mount a sinking boilie and a pop-up together on the hair, with the pop-up on top. The bottom bait provides the weight while the pop-up adds buoyancy.

A tip from Hengelsport 2000

Test your snowman in the margins with the hook attached. Watch how the rig settles. The two baits should sink gently, with the pop-up sitting above the bottom bait. If it lifts the whole rig, trim a little off the pop-up and test again.
