Prebaits Mackerel 17 - 25cm

Prebaits Mackerel 17 - 25cm

Irresistible saltwater attraction for freshwater predators

Mackerel is one of the most successful and widely used sea fish species in deadbait fishing. With its striking blue-silver coloration and distinctive black stripes, this baitfish immediately stands out underwater. This visual profile makes it exceptionally suited for presenting under a float or for slow trolling behind a boat. Furthermore, mackerel naturally possesses a very high oil and fat content. Once in the water, it releases an immense oil slick that triggers predators like pike, zander, and catfish into a strong feeding response.

Versatile presentations and maximum convenience on the bank

Measuring between 17 and 25 centimeters, this Prebaits Mackerel selection offers a highly universal size. You can present the mackerel whole on a traditional treble trace for static ledgering with alarms, or chop them into smaller sections or chunks when targeting zander on the bottom. Prebaits has individually vacuum-packed these baitfish, allowing you to easily separate the exact amount you need for your session while keeping the rest in perfect condition. Want to optimize your bait presentation even further? The soft, oily texture is ideal for injecting with extra fish oils or treating with a strong baitspray.

• Visual trigger thanks to the reflective blue-silver flanks and bold black stripes

• Individually vacuum-packed for easy handling and optimal freshness at the waterside

• Immense natural scent trail driven by the rich oils inherently present within the fish

• Versatile bait presentation suitable as a whole bait or cut into chunks for zander rigs

• Highly absorbent structure perfect for boosting with liquid attractors and winter oils
